The upcoming retreat will be facilitated by Annelies Richmond, an international trainer of meditation, breathwork, and leadership, and the founding director of SKY Campus Happiness, Nitin Garg, a senior breathwork facilitator and senior process director in a pharmaceutical company, and Sai Kalyan, a software engineer by profession, who has several diverse interests and hobbies, such as professional photography, cinematography, dance choreography, and AI video creation. Sai is a certified martial arts trainer and enthusiast and has acquired his training from the world-famous Shaolin temple in China. Annelies, Nitin and Sai have taught breathwork, yoga, and meditation to several thousand university students, faculty, staff, and corporate working professionals across the globe.
SKY Breath Meditation and the 3-session Happiness Retreat have been shown in research to reduce anxiety and depression significantly, lower stress markers, increase well-being and focus, and improve sleep, optimism, and social connection.
Participants report an increased ability to stay calm, confident, and resilient amidst challenges, increased levels of social connection and feelings of inclusion, and less suicidal feelings.
